Can the CaryExplorer™ be used from birth?

Yes.

The CaryExplorer™ is designed for use from birth, starting from 3.2 kg, excluding premature babies, in accordance with safety recommendations.

 

 

How do I carry a newborn correctly with the CaryExplorer™?

For optimal carrying from birth, we recommend following these tips:

  • Position the waistband quite high, usually just under the chest, so that the baby’s head is visible and their airways are clear.

  • Adjust the shoulder straps so that the baby is well supported, without compression.

  • Fold the neck cushion inwards into the panel to support the head and neck during the first few weeks (approximately 0 to 8 weeks).

  • Ensure the baby is in an ergonomic “M” position (knees higher than hips).

 

Do the baby's legs need to be outside the carrier from birth?

No, it is not mandatory.

At birth, the legs can remain inside the baby carrier, as long as the ergonomic “M” position is respected.

As the baby grows, their legs will naturally extend out from each side of the seat.

 

Does the CaryExplorer™ adapt to the baby's growth?

Yes.

The CaryExplorer™ has 3 seat width adjustment levels, located inside the panel, using a snap button system.

This allows the baby carrier to adapt to your child's age and morphology, from birth up to 20 kg.

 

What carrying positions are possible?

The CaryExplorer™ offers 4 ergonomic positions, depending on the baby's age and development:

  • Facing the wearer (from birth)

  • Facing outwards (when the baby can hold their head well, usually from 4 months)

  • Hip carry (from 5 months)

  • Back carry (from 5 months / approximately 8 kg)
